We currently live in a world where our expectations are for uniformity and consistency. Whether it’s the standardisation of modern technology to create identical products time and time again, to a favourite restaurant always serving great food, it’s a demand we’ve come to expect!

In terms of manufacturing or technology, this finite consistency is obviously of the upmost importance. However, in terms of nature or natural products, being a little different or unique isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it’s one of the many reasons that makes wood such a beautiful material!

Each tree that grows is unique in its own right, and whilst the genetic makeup of a tree can be almost identical across species, no two trees will ever be the same! From the trees’ root system and the way it grows, to even damage, there will always be marked similarities.

It’s just one of the many reasons why at The Wood Veneer Hub we love everything about wood!

A recent addition to our product portfolio is Nature Systems™, a leading producer of superior quality solid wood furniture.

All crafted from wood blocks, each Nature Systems™ piece of furniture is sure to bring the very essence of nature into the heart of your home.

The collection comprises eight occasional tables, each with distinct differences in terms of both construction and appearance, along with a low level coffee table, food preparation chopping boards, a centrepiece burner and a fabulous stand alone, solid wooden wine rack.

In the main, the range is made entirely from solid Beech wood, with the exception of one of the chopping boards, that is made from solid Olive wood.

Harvested from trees that were no longer fruitful, these boards are beautifully grained and non-porous, having been weathered over many, many Mediterranean summers.
