What preparation is needed before sticking on the panels?

Three things are needed to prep your stick-on wall panels. First, clean your walls with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Next, you should lay your stick-on panels out on the floor in your desired pattern. Finally, confirm your measurements and cut and panels that are too long.

How do you measure for wall panels?

Measuring for your stick-on wood panels is simple. You only need the length and width of your wall. Our planks are 127mm and 1180mm long. Depending on the size of your wall, and your desired arrangement, you may have to cut your planks down to fit your space.

Are they real wood panels?

Yes! All of our products are sustainably sourced and crafted with real wood. Don’t let the adhesive strips and easy-install fool you – these stick-on wood wall panels are fabricated with meticulous attention to detail and meet the highest quality standards.

Do you need to use adhesive to fit these panels?

The stick-on wood wall sheets come with their own adhesive strips. You don’t need any extra supplies to stick them on – just tools for measuring and cutting.

Acupanel is proud to introduce the new Design Wall Decor range! The iconic slat effect is now available in a variety of smaller shapes, which can be seamlessly joined together to create a small feature, or used to fill a whole wall.

The Design range is produced with a luxury quality, smooth wood veneer finish, with an oil applied to truly enhance the beauty of the wood. These MDF panels can easily be installed on any surface, to transform your space with ease.

The Rhombus panels come in a pack of three, which covers a 0.24m² area. They are designed to create a cube shape, but can be arranged in a variety of ways, to create any design you desire!

Finish Details

It is always advised to finish natural wood to protect it and, more importantly, to make it look even better than it already does. Rather than purchasing a separate tin of oil, we offer the design tiles with a finish as standard. You can install it straight on your wall from the box without extra work!

The finish available is a satin oil professionally applied to give an even coating across the panel.

Please be aware that this is a decorative finish and does not offer protection against water, humidity, or heat.

Simply screw the panels straight into the wall, using the correct fixings, through the MDF backing, or use a wall panel hook to install the panels. If installing on ceilings, the panels can be screwed straight into ceiling joists.

How do the panels arrive?

The Acupanel Design Wall Decor panels come in a pack of three, and are boxed accordingly.

Do the panels come in larger sizes?

The panels only come in one size, but we have designed them to join both widthways and long ways seamlessly to cover any area you desire.

How do I install the panels?

We recommend screwing the panels directly into the wall with black screws through the gaps between the slats. They can also be glued to the wall using a construction glue or grab adhesive.

Do you produce custom panel sizes?

We do not currently offer these panels in custom sizes.

Can the panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

The panels will be absolutely fine in these areas, as long as they are not in direct contact with water.

Can the non-acoustic panels be used outside?

The Acupanel range is designed for interior use only.

What do I do if I have plug sockets, windows or other items to install around?

It is straightforward to adjust the panels to fit around any object - they can be cut both width and length ways with a saw, and any edges can easily be sanded down for a smooth finish.

On which surfaces can I install the panels?

You can mount the panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard.

Do the colours of the pictures look like the panels in real life?

The wood used is always from the same source so they will always look more or less the same. It is natural wood, however, so knots, slight cracks and colour variations can occur. Get in touch if you would like us to send you pictures of the exact batch you could potentially receive.

How can I hide the edges of the panel?

The panels are designed to have an edge that looks like it is part of the panel. However, we do offer veneer sheets in a matching finish, which can be used to cover an edge if required.

Can I hide wires behind the panels?

If you are covering a full wall, you certainly can!

Are any of your panels FSC Certified?

We have a range of panels available with FSC Certification. Please get in touch if you need any further information on the panels we offer with this certification.

Why should I opt for a finished panel?

It is always advised to finish natural wood to protect it and, more importantly, to make it look even better than it already does.

Do you deliver the panels?

We do, with any delivery charges calculated at checkout. You are also welcome to collect directly from our warehouse.

What is your return policy?

You can return unused Acupanels within 30 days after delivery.

Are samples available?

Unfortunately, samples are not available for the Design range.
