What preparation is needed before sticking on the panels?

Three things are needed to prep your stick-on wall panels. First, clean your walls with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Next, you should lay your stick-on panels out on the floor in your desired pattern. Finally, confirm your measurements and cut and panels that are too long.

How do you measure for wall panels?

Measuring for your stick-on wood panels is simple. You only need the length and width of your wall. Our planks are 127mm and 1180mm long. Depending on the size of your wall, and your desired arrangement, you may have to cut your planks down to fit your space.

Are they real wood panels?

Yes! All of our products are sustainably sourced and crafted with real wood. Don’t let the adhesive strips and easy-install fool you – these stick-on wood wall panels are fabricated with meticulous attention to detail and meet the highest quality standards.

Do you need to use adhesive to fit these panels?

The stick-on wood wall sheets come with their own adhesive strips. You don’t need any extra supplies to stick them on – just tools for measuring and cutting.

Designed for quick and simple installation.

Installing our new LED trims range is quick and easy! Simply use a strong construction glue or grab adhesive, and slowly stick the trim in place next to the panel. Then, use the supplied velcro strips, or glue, to fit the LED trim into the pre-made channel. For horizontal applications, a small amount of glue may need to be used to help the LED remain in place.

Acupanel LED End Trim FAQ

How do the trims arrive?

The Acupanel^® LED Trims are shipped individually in boxes. If purchased with panels, the trim will be included in the box, and if purchased as a bundle with the Glow LED trim, they will be shipped in the same tube.

Do the end trims come in larger sizes?

All of our trims are available in a 240cm x 60cm size. Currently, we do not offer an extended length in our LED trims, but they can be seamlessly joined to cover a larger area as needed.

How do I install the end trims?

It's simple to install your LED trim! Simply use a construction glue or grab adhesive to glue the trim in place. Apply pressure on the trim to ensure there is a good adhesion. Please be aware that the LED trims can sometimes arrive with a slight bend, which is common when veneering a product on a select few sides. We recommend using construction glue and working up from the bottom, straightening the trim as you go. With a strong construction glue, this manual straightening will hold the end piece straight in place.

Do you produce custom LED trim sizes?

We do not currently offer the LED trim in custom sizes; however, we have designed them to be easily cut if you need smaller. They also can be joined together seamlessly if you need bigger.

Can the LED trims be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

The LED trims will be absolutely fine in these areas, as long as they are not in direct contact with water. We do recommend applying a water-resistant finish to the trim to protect them against any moisture or humidity wherever possible though. Our Glow LED light strips are not suitable to be used in high heat or moisture areas, however, so please consult with a qualified tradesperson to advise you further.

Can the LED trims be used outside?

The Acupanel^® LED Trim range is designed for interior use only.

What do I do if I have plug sockets, windows or other items to install around?

It is straightforward to adjust the end trims to fit around any object. You can cut them widthways or lengthways with a saw, to then fit around any item you may have on your surface.

On which surfaces can I install the trims?

You can mount the trims on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard. They are designed to be used with our Acupanel^® Acoustic wall panelling only.

Do the colours of the pictures look like the trims in real life?

The wood used is always from the same source so they will always look more or less the same. It is natural wood, however, so knots, slight cracks and colour variations can occur. Get in touch if you would like us to send you pictures of the exact batch you could potentially receive.

Do I need to hide the edges of the trims?

The LED trim is designed as a finishing product for the Acupanel^® Acoustic panelling range, so you do not need to hide the edges of the LED trim.

Are these trims compatible with panels mounted on battens?

The LED trims are designed to be used when the panels are flush to the wall. If the panels are mounted on battens, there will be a visible gap between the wall and trim due to the increased distance.

Are any of your products FSC Certified?

We have a range of products, including panels, available with FSC Certification. Please get in touch if you need any further information on the panels we offer with this certification.

Why should I opt for a finished panel and trim?

It is always advised to finish natural wood to protect it and, more importantly, to make it look even better than it already does. We now offer a decorative satin oil-finished panel for our Contemporary Oak and Contemporary Walnut panels, to take out the hassle of finishing the panels yourself. Please note that this is a decorative finish only, providing no protection against heat, water or humidity.

Do you deliver the panels?

We do, and we offer free delivery to mainland UK for the Acupanel^® range! You are also welcome to collect directly from our warehouse.

What is your return policy?

You can return unused Acupanel^® products within 30 days after delivery.

Are samples available?

Samples are not available of the LED end trims, but you can purchase a sample box of the Acupanel^® panelling by clicking here.
