Wood Veneer Description
A cream to yellowish colour. It is mainly produced in Quarter cut, stripy for the door industry. The veneer has a tendency to have a woolly grain but this can be sanded out prior to finishing. It is considered to be one of the more competitive species thus its use in mass produced commercial door skins.
It is also used as a backing veneer because of its light colour when more exotic veneers are used on the face of panels. Ayous also takes a stain well and from its base colour one can achieve many different colours during a dying process.
Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.
