Smoked Sapele Wood Veneer
Wood Veneer Description
Sourced in West Africa this warm reddish coloured veneer has been smoked. It has been used in domestic furniture production for many years. The Quarter cut stripy has bands of light and dark and is very attractive once finished. The stripe can be both narrow and wide. Generally a very sound veneer, sometimes containing pin knots. The crown feature looks attractive on table tops and door fronts and is fairly consistent. The Mahogany family, just like Teak, has been a fashionable specie for many years and will remain so.
Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.
