Wood Veneer Description
This is a sliced veneer and is greyish to brownish-black with well-defined growth pattern. Smooth textured surface which finishes well. Like all Walnut species there is a historical allegiance and a feeling of class associated with it. Widely available in the market today and has become very popular in recent years with the Marine industry.
Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.

found my dealings with 'The Wood Veneer Hub (TWVH)' to be very positive, efficient & helpful. I initially found the piece of veneer I had ordered (without too much waste) but when I cut it I found one of the ends to be slightly damaged, stopping me from completing my project. I telephoned TWVH but they said they were unable to replace my veneer, because I'd cut into it, this I did understand. However upon further discussion, I asked if there were any off-cuts to complete the project - Michael Horn very kindly sent a piece just large enough to do so! Many thanks Jensen
I had ordered over two metres of black walnut veneer. It arrived a few days later rolled up with a corrugated cardboard base. On opening there were no splits or chips.
I has been used as the finish to a yacht table which is brilliant. The excellent quality of this veneer made all the difference.
