Wood Veneer Description
Sourced from South America. In years gone by the main Rosewood used in the UK was the Rio Rosewood but as supplies got harder to find a substitute was found named Santos. It has a very striking colour consisting of light areas, red and brown and really brings out the life often associated with the Brazilian culture. In the crown cut the cathedral feature can be vivid and explosive. It is used in high end contract furniture and bespoke furniture pieces. It finishes very well with most oils, varnishes and waxes.
Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.

Hi, I was impressed with the quality of the rosewood veneer I recieved from your company, I’ve yet to start the project I bought it for, I shall send you an image of finished product. But be ware I do take time in doing things these days as it’s just a hobby, I’m a retired joiner and still have a delight in making wooden things. Regards, Bryan
The product had excellent quality grain that matched the rest of the piece very well, used traditional glue from the 70's which had some bleed through but was able to finish the repair on the side of the table and glue the structure together. Client had fallen through the glass and smashed the base.
