The Acupanel® Glow RGB Remote is a sleek add-on to the LED RGB light strips, offering a hand-held alternative to control the lights. Available in black, it features an attractive touch-slider for dimming the lights, with a magnetic stand to store it with ease.

Please note if purchased with an Acupanel® Glow LED RGB light pack, the remote will be packaged with the lights.

Installation & Downloads

Installing the Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Strips is simple. Firmly press the LED strip between the slats of your Acupanel®, ensuring you have already cut them to the correct length. For assistance in cutting the lights, setting up the app, or any other inquiries, please refer to the technical sheet below.

What comes in the box?

Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips come pre-boxed with everything you need for setup, in either a 2-pack or 4-pack configuration. Please see our installation guide here for all details on setup.

Does the Acupanel® Glow LED lights Strip pack come with a remote?

The remote control does not come in the LED light pack, however can be purchased separately here.

Do I need a remote control to operate the Acupanel® Glow LED RGB Light Strips?

No, the remote control is not required to operate the Acupanel® Glow LED RGB Light Strips. There is a dimmer box included that can be used as a power on/off switch. Alternatively, you can download the Smartlife app and control your lights with your smartphone.

Which panels do the Acupanel® Glow LED light strips fit?

Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips are designed to fit the original Acupanel® range, including Acoustic Slat Wood, Acoustic Slat Color, Acoustic Metal, and Acoustic Stone. The Drew and Jonathan Home™ Grainmatch paneling is also fully compatible with the LED lighting. View all LED-compatible panels here.

Are the LED lights dimmable?

The Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips are not dimmable. However, you can choose from 24 vibrant preset colour hues to create your ideal lighting scene, controlled via your smartphone or our optional wireless remote control (sold separately).

What colours do the RGB LED lights come in?

The Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips offer 24 preset colour hues, giving you a wide range of options to suit any mood or interior style. Colours can be selected via the SmartLife app or the optional remote control (sold separately).

Do the Acupanel® Glow LED light strips come in longer lengths?

Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips are available in a single length of 300cm. They are available to purchase in a 2-pack or 4-pack, depending on the size of your installation. The lights can also be cut to size with scissors to fit any panel configuration.

Are the lights compatible with smart home systems?

Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips are compatible with most smart home systems, allowing you to control the lighting using your smartphone, voice commands, or through an app. Please check the product installation instructions for details on compatible systems.

Can the Acupanel® Glow LED Light Strips be used without smart devices or Wi-Fi?

Yes, Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips can be controlled without a smartphone or Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is only required if you choose to control your lights via the SmartLife app. The lights can also be controlled with the remote control (sold separately).

How do I install the lights?

Installation is quick and easy, with the LEDs being as simple as pushing into place! The Acupanel® Glow RGB LED Light Strips are designed to fit between the slats of the original Acupanel® Acoustic range, without tools or adhesives. Please see our installation guide here for all details on setup, including the correct way to attach all the wires.

Can I cut down the Acupanel® Glow LED Light Strips?

Yes, you certainly can cut your LED light strips to fit your panel height! Before cutting your lights, unplug the power supply from the wall. You can quickly cut the lights to size using scissors. Look for the dark nodes that appear about every inch of the LED strip and simply cut as required. Use the supplied black silicone end caps to finish the top off. Can I install Acupanel® Glow LED lights in a kitchen or bathroom?

Acupanel® Glow LED Light Strips can be installed in a kitchen or bathroom, but must be installed away from water, heavy steam, and extreme heat sources.

How long can I leave the RGB LED lights on?

To protect the longevity of your LED strips, we recommend not leaving the lights on continuously for more than 4 hours at a time. Exceeding this may cause the LEDs to burn out prematurely. If you'd like to continue using them after 4 hours, simply switch them off for a short period before turning them back on.

Can the Acupanel® Glow LED Strips be used outside?

The Acupanel® Glow LED Light Strips are designed for interior use only.

Can I connect multiple LED strip packs to one remote?

Yes, multiple LED strip packs can be used and synced with a single remote control to ensure a consistent, uniform lighting effect across your entire slat wall installation. Please note that you would need to use each kit's dedicated splitter and power unit to prevent an electrical overload - connecting multiple onto one socket will pose a fire risk.

What do I do if I have plug sockets, windows or other items to install around?

You can cut the lights to the size you require to install around such items. For futher cutting instruction, please refer to our installation guide linked here.

Do you deliver the lights?

We do! Any delivery charges are calculated at checkout. You can also collect the lights directly from our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard.

What is your return policy?

You can return unused lights within 30 days of delivery. For our full delivery and return policy, please click here.

What is the warranty?

This product has a 2-year warranty. If you cut the LED lights after purchasing, please note that the warranty will be void and we won't be able to offer a refund. If you have any questions about the lights before installing them or encounter a defective product, please reach out to our customer service team — we're here to help!
